Literacy

First steps of literacy are made at our school to support their development.  To quote Maria  Montessori “Language is the key that unlocks the world of knowledge.” We find that once children start to spell and sound out there first letters as a few of the below pictures demonstrates, the children are usually thrilled with excitement of  having created a word. We have many different Montessori equipment available and also created a book corner where we sit and read book with the children.
